About the Guest
Wendy JB Young is the Chief Financial Officer at F&G, a leading insurance solutions provider serving retail annuity, life customers, and institutional clients. As CFO, she oversees F&G’s Finance and Corporate Actuarial organizations across all retail and institutional business lines, including corporate finance, actuarial, capital management, tax, and finance transformation efforts.
She has over 35 years of industry experience, spending the last two decades at F&G in progressively senior leadership roles. Young joined the company in 2000 as an actuary and subsequently led various actuarial, finance, and reinsurance functions. She played a key role in major corporate milestones like F&G’s debt raise and 2013 IPO. Prior to her CFO role, Young was the Chief Risk Officer, spearheading the risk management framework, control environment, and reinsurance capital strategy implementation. A Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and an American Academy of Actuaries member, Young is a graduate of Penn State University.
