About the guests:

Tim Bogert, CLU,
CHFC, LIC, AIF®
With over 40 years of expertise in values-based financial
planning, Tim is dedicated to helping families build, protect, and preserve
their wealth with confidence. His approach is rooted in the Five Pillars of
Comprehensive Planning—proactive tax strategies, tailored wealth management,
asset protection, and estate planning—ensuring financial security at every
stage of life. For families with loved ones who have disabilities, Tim
incorporates a vital sixth pillar: Special Needs Planning, guiding caregivers
in structuring assets to protect government benefits like SSI and Medicaid
while helping ensure long-term stability.

Together with his business partner Elizabeth Larson, Tim
brings a unique combination of expertise and personal experience to financial and special needs planning. As a member of the Ed Slott Master Elite IRA Advisor Group™, he has appeared on PBS over 30 times, educating families on tax-efficient retirement strategies. Beyond his professional achievements, Tim is a father to 13 children, including four with Down syndrome, giving him a deep understanding of the challenges caregivers face. His mission is simple: to help families navigate complex financial landscapes, optimize resources, and create a secure future for generations to come.

Elizabeth “Betsy” Larson,

is dedicated to helping individuals and families make informed decisions that align with their priorities. She specializes in special needs planning, offering guidance to families navigating the complexities of
government benefits, asset protection, and long-term financial security for
loved ones with disabilities. Having grown up in a large family that includes
four sisters with Down syndrome, Elizabeth brings both professional expertise and deep personal understanding to her work—helping clients replace uncertainty with confidence and peace of mind.

A proud member of the Academy of Special Needs Planners,
Elizabeth integrates the Six Pillars of Special Needs Financial Planning into
