About the Host:

Jennifer Mackert, MBA, is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer at C2P Enterprises, bringing over 25 years of industry experience to her role. With a strong background in portfolio management, client service, and corporate operations, Jennifer leverages her expertise to enhance company performance and provide exceptional service to advisors. Her career includes significant tenures at McDonald Investments and Key Private Bank, where she managed portfolios exceeding $100 million and served on investment committees. Jennifer’s educational background, including an MBA with a concentration in Finance, further strengthens her capabilities in the financial sector.

Prior to C2P’s founding, Jennifer played a crucial role at JL Smith Wealth & Tax Planning, where she contributed to developing key processes now utilized by C2P Enterprises and Clarity 2 Prosperity. Her commitment to education is evident in her work as an adjunct finance professor at Baldwin Wallace University and Tiffin University. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jennifer is actively involved in her community, supporting athletic and swim boosters as well as various charitable organizations.

About the Guests:

Carl Smith is Head Mentor and founding partner for Clarity 2 Prosperity and Prosperity Capital Advisors, as well as the former President of The Smith Group. Carl’s career in the financial services industry began nearly two decades ago in 1996 when he founded CP Smith Enterprises. What originally started as a business with a single insurance product has evolved into a successful holistic financial planning firm in South Carolina and the industry.
 
Carl has been instrumental in building our firm’s premier coaching and mentoring platform to enhance the practices of our affiliated advisors. In addition to one-on-one mentoring, he also makes his office available for model office visits where advisors are immersed in hands-on training in a real-world environment.

James DeLucia is a Client Services Associate at Quest Capital & Risk Management, Inc., a holistic wealth management firm located in Smithtown, New York. He joined the company full-time in March 2024 after completing a successful internship in financial planning and analysis with the firm during the summer of 2023. James holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from SUNY Oneonta, where he was also a member of the NCAA Wrestling team and Finance Club.

In his role, James is dedicated to providing exceptional client service and support. His daily responsibilities include client communication, addressing inquiries, developing business analytics using internal software and Excel spreadsheets, and assisting the lead advisor in creating financial plans for clients approaching retirement. Drawing from his background as a college athlete, James approaches his career in financial planning with determination and a drive for continuous growth and excellence.

Jonathan Medina is a client sales associate at Dellelo Wealth Management, a holistic wealth management firm in Easton, Massachusetts. He joined the firm in June 2024 after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from Bridgewater State University.

His academic focus on Finance has laid a strong foundation for his aspiring career as a Financial Advisor. Jonathan is driven by a commitment to provide clients with exceptional service from a holistic perspective, leveraging his aptitude for listening and learning to build a successful future in the financial industry.
