Matt Seitz is the Chief Marketing Officer and a Partner at C2P. In his roles, he has streamlined the marketing-sales funnels, spearheaded the digital growth of the companies, reinforced the brand identities, and implemented content marketing strategies to drive leads into and through the sales pipelines.

With over 15 years of marketing and sales experience in the finance, accounting, and professional services industries, Matt has made a name for himself as an author of articles and speaker on various marketing and business development topics. His professional philosophy is grounded in relationship marketing – focusing on customer service and satisfaction through data-driven marketing plans with clear ROI. Under Matt’s leadership, JL Smith Holistic Wealth management achieved a 40% average annual growth from 2020 through 2024 in new advisory and annuity assets and expanded the firm’s geographic footprint. Motivated by his desire to help other financial advisory firms achieve similar success, Matt helped pioneer an in-house marketing agency tailored to financial advisors with C2P.

A member of the American Marketing Association, Matt’s primary areas of expertise are strategic planning, digital marketing, lead generation, and content marketing. Throughout his career, he has achieved numerous accolades, such as being named one of Cleveland’s Notable Marketing Executives in 2021 by Crain’s. Matt has also received industry recognition for content marketing, video marketing, and lead generation campaigns. Most recently, Matt was recognized as one of the top 50 financial services marketing and communications professionals in 2025 by Financial Narrative 50. He was also named as a finalist for CMO of the Year in 2023 by WealthManagement.com for their Industry Awards, in addition to being a finalist for ThinkAdvisor’s LUMINARIES for outstanding executive leadership.

Matt’s thought leadership extends to his current endeavor: his forthcoming debut book about creating thriving marketing programs for financial advisors to scale up and better serve their clients amid the backdrop of his personal health journey and the power embracing a positive mindset.

Matt and his wife, Melissa, and their three children reside in Cleveland and are huge fans of basketball, Disney, and all Cleveland sports!
