Amy Colton is a financial advisor and certified divorce financial analyst (CDFA®) with over 40 years of professional experience. Holding an MBA from Michigan State University and a BA from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, Colton’s career spans from a 20-year executive tenure at IBM to her current role as a wealth advisor and divorce mediator. In 2020, she co-founded Your Divorce Made Simple, a firm dedicated to guiding individuals and couples through the financial complexities of divorce.

 

Colton’s passion lies in empowering women to take control of their financial futures, particularly during major life transitions. As an author and mentor, she shares her expertise through her published work, including Have We Really Come a Long Way, Baby? (2022), and her upcoming book Kitchen Table Divorces.
